The Center for Research and Development of Higher Education provides notifications about workshops that we hold, and shares information about events held by the University’s departments and institutions with people who want to participate in University of Tokyo workshops and events.

In addition to online workshops, the Center for Research and Development of Higher Education holds regular face-to-face workshops.
Interactive teaching is a way of teaching that aims to draw out, support, and encourage proactive study from learners by emphasizing educational communication between learners and between learners and teachers.
We hold “real sessions” (face-to-face classes) over a three day period for 20 people who are interested among those who have viewed the videos, furthered their learning, and completed the course.
During real sessions, participants can get involved in different types of work with other members, with a supervising faculty member facilitating.
This program targets University of Tokyo graduate students who are aiming to become university teachers, post-doctoral students, and young faculty members, with the goal of improving their teaching ability.
Participants gathered from different areas of research stimulate each other, and in so doing can increase their own teaching abilities as they create valuable human relationships.
