UTokyo Online Course Catalogue

UTokyo Online Course Catalogue is a system that enables users to scan all the University of Tokyo’s regular undergraduate/graduate courses, search for courses, and discover how subjects are related to each other.

There are over 10,000 undergraduate and graduate courses available at the University of Tokyo. However, it is very difficult for people to search for courses they want to study across different schools and faculties, and so UTokyo Online Course Catalogue was developed as a system to enable users to search for courses all in one place.

The Catalogue not only allows users to carry out general searches, but they can also use MIMA Search, which allows them to discover courses that they might be interested in by looking at the visual connections between courses.

  • When you want to check out a subject that you are interested in, you can save it in your list by adding it to “My List,” and then view it anytime you want to.
  • MIMA Search is a system that allows users to search for and visualize courses based on a natural language processing system developed by the University of Tokyo faculty members.
  • The system reflects up-to-date information posted on UTAS.
