Dear participants in past GFD events,

As part of our Global FD initiative at UTokyo, we are hosting a workshop on
effective use of technology in the classroom on September 15 (Thursday)
from 1:00-2:30pm. The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Lui Yoshida
(KALS). Please find below details of the workshop.

*Let’s Learn about Technology in the Classroom*
The rapid advance of technology today enables us to use more effective
educational technology in classrooms. This workshop will focus on the
basics and practical know-how of educational technology which can be
applied to your own classrooms.It will offer an overview of contemporary
technology and will encourage participants to experience and share useful
techniques using such tools as smartphones, iPads, PCs, and clickers. It
will also reevaluate the advantages and disadvantages of educational
technology.

Date: Thursday, September 15, 2016 1:00-2:30pm

Place: University of Tokyo, Komaba Campus, KALS (2nd floor, Bldg. 17)

Eligibility: Anyone interested
Capacity: 40

Admission: Free

Language: English

Global FDの主催により、９月１５日（木）に「教室におけるテクノロジーの有効利用」についてのワークショップを下記の通り開催いたします。

*Let’s Learn about Technology in the Classroom*

（講師：附属教養教育高度化機構 アクティブラーニング部門 特任助教 吉田 塁）

近年の技術発展に伴い、授業の中で活用できる有効なテクノロジーが増えてきています。
本ワークショップでは、授業におけるテクノロジーに関する基礎知識と実践的な活用方法を学び、参加者のより良い授業づくりに役立てることを目的とします。
ピア・インストラクション、反転授業などに代表される体系だった方法から、意見や成果物を共有するための簡単なツールの使い方まで、明日からすぐに使えるテクノロジーをご紹介します。
ワークショップ内では、参加者はただテクノロジーを情報として知るだけではなく、実際にテクノロジーを用いた教育方法を体験します。
さらに参加者の実践内容を共有し、テクノロジーのメリット、デメリットについて振り返ることで、テクノロジーに関する理解を深めます。
授業において活用できるテクノロジーについて興味がある方は、是非ご参加ください。

日時：平成２８年９月１５日（木）午後１時～２時半
場所：東京大学 駒場キャンパス KALS（１７号館２階 ）

対象：教員、事務、大学院生等テーマに興味のある方
定員：４０名
